This patch corrects some problems found by our customers. Following are the symptoms of the problems that have been fixed.
1) WordPerfect sometimes hung during spell checks on documents containing a word that was more than 64 characters long. Using the underscore key to create a blank in the document typically caused this problem.
2) WordPerfect quit unexpectedly when doing a spell check or a grammar check on a document that included equations. This was because WordPerfect attempted to find spelling or grammar errors in the equations.
3) If a document included a table that spanned two or more pages and had page numbering turned on, the page numbers didn't appear on some of the pages.
4) If a WordPerfect 3.0 document contained a page-oriented graphic or equation and was exported to WordPerfect 5.1 format, the graphic became a full page graphic in WordPerfect 5.1.
5) If a user who had Macintosh Easy Open translators double-clicked on a non-WordPerfect document, the translators sometimes converted the document to WordPerfect 1.0 format instead of to 3.0 format.
6) Occasionally, some of the temporary files remained on a user's hard disk instead of being deleted when the user quit WordPerfect 3.0.
7) If a user had a WordPerfect 5.1 or 6.0 document with a full-justified equation or graphic (the bounding box spans from the left margin to the right margin) and imported that equation or graphic into WordPerfect 3.0 and then edited it, the bounding box was resized to match the size of its contents.
8) If a user's document contained subscriptions inside of endnotes and the user chose the 'Cancel All Subscribers'
option in the Subscriber Options dialog box, WordPerfect didn't cancel the subscriptions in the endnotes.
9) WordPerfect sometimes hung when a user switched WordPerfect to character orientation mode and applied a style to some text.
10) If a user copied character attributes then selected some text and pasted the attributes, the color attribute would apply to the rest of the document instead of just to the selected text.
11) Sometimes documents sent to non-Postscript printers printed over and over.
12) We also made several improvements to support WordPerfect 6.0 conversion filters. These changes were not implemented to fix existing symptoms.
Once the patch process is completed, you will notice a "P2" in the "About WordPerfect" screen (visible after choosing About WordPerfect from the Apple menu) which indicates that your version has been patched.
